I can't see any benefit in this grey notification panel on our low ram ginkgo redmi note 8 phones. it's only ugly and annoying. Is there a way to change this back to transparent/blurry style again or is anyone out there who is able to do the necessary changes in the corresponding framework...

Gingko redmi note 8, I think to have solved the draining: as I use nova launcher, i never use Vault. So I switched once to stock launcher opened the vault app and made some changes. Now its gonna deep sleep again. I'm not sure if that was the real reason, but I've seen in changelog that the app...

Redmi Note 8, Gingko. Download via sourceforge, check md5sum, boot TWRP, Backup (after deleting /data/extm folder, necessary on my device), dirty flash, copy ringtones, hosts etc. to the right places - reboot. Nothing to complain. Boring as always. Thanks a lot, Devs!

don't know, just rebooting... Battery was okay in last build, but still worse than in 11Roms. When freaking out, often reboot helps, like in CyanogenMod/lineageos...

Yes, I got this file and have to delete the whole folder every time before I do a backup in TWRP via file manager or adb. Quite annoying!

Just to mention once more, because instead of using seach function, people always ask same questions again... I dirty flashed the Gingko (redmi note 8) from Miui 11, last weekly to Miui 12 and I have no problems at all! Just permissions and battery saving settings need to be adjusted here and there.

Okay, you must be kidding! Is this really Android 10? Dirty flashed over the last MIUI 11 EU for our Gingko/HMNote8 and beside of new rollouts of all app permissions I don't see no any fkn problem at all. Even with nova launcher I expected every kind of trouble. But nothing - yet, all is fine...
