Taking into account how many apps you ran under Kitkat and also the installation zip and gapps zip, I don't think there are too many Kitkat only files on /sdcard to remove.

Odd how the Antutu score with my build is just 18991. Using it for basic things is lightning quick.

Is this something you've heard which is a cure? These seem to only really matter when the phone is left and idling prior to a normal pre-sleep. Though I can see how daydream may have an effect during normal usage as it's process may have an issue on our phones. Just damn annoying lol.

This ROM has the same effect on my phone. It suddenly locks up then the screen fades to black. Back to MIUI.

Sounds like you need to get your device back to stock. I had a problem with mine and I used this method to return it to stock and after that all was well. Review this page: http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/guide-flashing-rom-using-miflash.19287/ Just be sure you get an Mi2A fastboot package!
