When you update the root will be removed and you will have to root your device again. Root shouldn't cause any problems with updates.

The way it's not supposed to be flashed but it worked for me. The twrp refers to the filename. fastboot flash boot_a twrp.img fastboot flash boot_b twrp.img

Yeah I also tried to boot into the recovery to install it via ramdisk but it also gave me this error so I just straight up flashed it.

I just tried it on my Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G on MIUI 14 and the alarm screen is still in 60hz but it switches to 120hz right after closing it. So I guess they fixed it.
