I love the version, fixes/improves some other things, but global dark doesn't play well with some apps, can disable it individually for those apps, but the annoying part is that those settings are lost after a reboot.

Individual app settings lost after a reboot, wish there was the button from old version which lets you toggle the feature. Some apps dont display correctly with DM, but id at least like to use it on the launcher.

I have the same issue with a certain camera app, I know xiaomi.eu doesn't support other apps, but when the issue comes from the rom itself, it's something to look into. I noticed that video previews work fine, it only affects photos.

When updated to this version, the gallery for every version of *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* seems to have broken and as its "last picture taken" it's stuck on an image taken on an older rom. Some kind of media library update issue?

Mi 9 quick charge bug is gone! On previous versions whenever you rebooted with a charger attached, quick charge would not turn on until you replug the cable.

Late reply but.. for me the device is certified, no issues with magisk, no need for magiskhideprops to pass safetynet, use magiskhide though or safetynet won't pass, google pay works (you may need to delete google pay app data for it to start working), Netflix works in full hd (Widevine L1)...

Try flashing the official rom back with miflash? It should give you a clean slate to try again.

Oh it happens on a LOT of phones right now, read more on magiskhide props xda page, it happened overnight, regardless of rom version. Not just xiaomis. Some speculate safetynet can now detect an unlocked bootloader. Suddenly my Mi9 is uncertified on play store and doesnt pass cts either.

In work profile (if using Island for example), all apps get forced-auto rotation, even if the app doesn't support it (messes up the UI) and it doesn't respect the rotation lock quick toggle.

Have you figured this out? My friend has the same issue on his Mi9 SE, I've tried downgrading the rom, unrooting, wiping caches, wiping data for caller/launcher apps, the issue doesn't go away anymore, doing a clean install just because of this one bug is a headache.
