You seem to have the stock screen protector on, might make it easier to notice. Also the cam becomes harder to notice at higher brightness levels until it becomes invisible around 50-60% brightness. This tech isn't perfect yet.

If you read its xda thread, it seems like the latest version won't work on miui 13 and will display that message. The developer is using Mix 2S which is too old to receive A10+ Miui 12+ updates to develop properly for newer versions.

Did you install the github or play store version? If playstore, try github one.

Fastboot install global rom on it without locking, then keep it as is or reflash xiaomi.eu, boot up, remove your miui account which is needed after first boot, factory reset again, ready for selling.
