Probably if you protect Google app from being closed, it would "fix" this issue

Assistant works fine, ok google does not.

Sad to say, but after some hours of rolling back the mod, the ok google was disabled again I reflashed the rom.

Sadly i can't help much more than testing and giving feedback. My knowledge os this kind of stuff is near zero o_O

Yeah, just saw this fix comes with some issues, broke the silent mode and video (with audio) playback too. Did a dirty flash with the latest rom and apparently fixed all the issues and ok google still working :emoji_grin:

First of all, thanks for the rom. Using it for about 6 weeks for the Mi 8 and it's really great, everything except Ok, Google (but this is a Xiaomi issue...) Keep up your amazing work! Is there a way to implement an option to disable the camera sounds at settings in future updates? The only way...
