I have not found a decent way to add a drive letter to the Mi3 within Windows. In the end I installed the app FTPServer from Andreas Liebig. Now I can access the content of my Mi3 in a fast, efficient and reliable way.

Perhaps it's a no-brainer, but I just don't know: How do you use WiFi to send the display content to a smart TV?

@plasma.d00d I tried some piece of software that was provided by the manufacturer of my DSL-modem/AP (FritzBox 7390) which "just works" from everywhere in the world, except from China. So I will give OpenVPN a chance and try it out when I am back in China. Thanks for the reply!

Solved with a full download update and install of 4.5.23 via CWM! :-) The GPS icon still does not show, but the app GPS Test shows great reception and Google Maps can find me without WLAN.

Bad GPS would have been a big improvement to my situation while my MI3 was running on 4.5.16. As mentioned before it just could not be activated at all. But as I am currently on a business trip in China I neither have the resources nor the time to figure this out, so I went back to 4.5.9 and...

Hi there, as I already mentioned in the title GPS is gone after I updated today to 4.5.16. The trouble started this morning when I installed the latest update and on reboot my phone only showed the golden icon. After about 30 minutes I forced some more reboots but that didn't change anything...

Calibration also ran like forever on my MI3. I installed FasterFix, started it and selected the European server, when I realized 2 things: 1st: This app just adjusts the time on my phone by contacting a time-server. 2nd: GPS was (like almost always) deactivated on my phone. So I switched it on...

I have changed my mind: I will not get a hard case. My former smart phone - an HTC Desire HD - was protected with something from PDair. So I checked if they perhaps also would have something for the Mi3 and they do! Check this out...
