Works fine for me. Try clearing out the Calendar data/cache to reset your data. Then resync.

It automagically refreshes itself. Either reboot your phone or appkill the music program, reopen it and it will find your music. this is not a bug

Have you done a full reinstall, complete with a full data wipe and dalvik cache wipe, etc? Did you install a custom kernel?

Same here. Haven't had any issues yet with just a Dalvik Cache (and battery stats wipe, as I switched Kernels too to go back to stock) and haven't had a single issue thus far.
