Update To 8.1.7.0 From 8.1.6.0 Info

As I said, I'm not sure if you can do dirty flash. I think so but I've not tried that. But clean flash is not that difficult to do. So I'd prefer that if you're anyway going to do clean flash to 7.0. Just back up your device in TWRP before doing anything.

Update To 8.1.7.0 From 8.1.6.0 Info

Now I don't understand your problem. Why make dirty flash between stable and dev if you're anyway flashing back to stable nougat ROM trough clean flash? I still suggest you to clean flash 6.11.10 and after that clean flash 8.1.7.0. Maybe you have newer ROM but as long as instructions advice us...

Update To 8.1.7.0 From 8.1.6.0 Info

I'm really not sure if that's necessary. I just said that I've done it that way. Anyway it is upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0. and instructions tell us first to install 6.11.10.

Update To 8.1.7.0 From 8.1.6.0 Info

OTA update makes dirty flash, just flashes new update without wiping. Of course you can do that in twrp also. I always check that I have the latest twrp version before i flash something, now 3.0.2-3. If not, you can flash it in fastboot mode. Install rom and after that wipe data, cache and...

Bricked My Mi5 - Only Qualcomm Hs_usb Mode Detected !!!

Did you try the first url that iamme729 replied you? You talk about global dev but in that link it says you must flash latest china dev. Be also sure that you have miflash beta that is linked there, otherwise it won't work. Try to follow those instructions and see if something happens.

How To Updating From 6.11.10 ?

Well, first you need android usb drivers for you PC (in case you don't have it yet). You can find adb installer which is quite easy method to install those. Check that your PC recognizes your Mi5. Then you boot to fastboot (vol- and power) and connect MI5 to PC. You open CMD (command prompt) on...

    Difference Between Rom's

As far as I know, 8.1.6.0 is based on Android M and on official MIUI release. 8.1.7.0 is based on Android N and can be called "official beta". Maybe not so stable as 8.1.6.0 but works in daily use if you want Android N.

    Lineageos ( Cm ) 14.1

I think he means the fp quick fix patch that can be found on XDAs LineageOS thread. That has helped some people but not all. It is still about unreleased drivers. New LineageOS official build will be up in few days so you can hope that problem is fixed there.

How To Updating From 6.11.10 ?

6.11.10 is just the right version before you update to nougat rom. So yes, you dont need to flash any other rom before 7.1.5. Right TWRP is the newest 3.0.2-3. I don't know if older versions work also but that works for sure. log error doesn't matter. I have had it every time I have installed...

Pin Code Change With Last Building Xiaomi.eu

Well, that's weird. I have same version and now I even switched to English. There is in privacy settings just under "clear credentials" SIM Lock" and under that is my operator name. When I click it, I get to change the pin code.
