You mention to wipe system but OP instruction states (NEVER wipe System or Persist!) This is why I'm always confused of how exactly I should proceed with clean flash :(

To be honest I'm not 100% sure but few days ago when I was stuck in Fastboot I flashed vbmeta first > then flashed TWRP > then booted into twrp to clear cache/dalvik > then booted into system normally

You need to flash vbmeta.img as well

Try uninstalling the older version first or simply install Vanced and forger about the default Youtube app

"Other apps" is consuming lots of power but does not list which apps exactly. I barely use non-common apps on my device. How can I see which other apps are using power?
