Forgive me, I'am new to MIUI en OTA. If I understand correctly the updates (OTA) are coming not from you but from Xiaomi. Are the OTA updates not making your mods to disappear ? For example if you make a mod to abc.apk and in the update is also abc.apk, then your mod is lost.

How can we see if the phone is an old or new revision ?

I understand how to do it. I'am just curious about the technical reason of the problem of loosing root. Especially because the su is included in de multi lang rom already. (Just want to learn:))

But how can that be done if semibrick occured ? (I don't have this situation but want to know just in case. Phone still has to arrive)

The title is a little bit confusing. It says full working but in first post there is mentioned that nandroid backup is not working. So, is nandroid backup working now ?

But why installing first older firmware ? We have already CWM on device. Why not just flash root.zip ? (just try to understand technical reason for this)
