Try manual metodh, I use manual to megabass mod. Extrack zip package and put to each folder in system folder. If the tweak required some modification to build.prop just copy word between qoutes.

Maybe you can try Acid tweak, megabass tweak in my M2 not perfect like in other phone. I lost volume control, when I push volume botton its just show volume bar, not increase level. So I must slide the bar to increase level. But that tweak have better compression sound

I put this mod on build.prop if I need read in dark this mod showing virtual key like on ics phone qemu.hw.mainkeys = 0 use rootexplore system/build.prop save and restart. maybe we can request to developer add toggle to status bar
