Alright, but I assume that many people here will be happy if you could address or even acknowledge the storage/Gmail/Telegram issue persisting from the very first release. Haven't seen any of the mods as much as mention it.

Did you miss them in literally all the previous A12 releases? I can start digging them up from all the weekly posts so far, but I did mention those that came up often (Telegram and Gmail). Here's a few, found while browsing on mobile...

I'm not sure it's true, and either way, it's a huge gambit (especially when there's no TWRP to roll back with). I came from a clean flash, some apps were indeed restored from backup, but there were plenty that were installed after switching to A12. What you're suggesting may work in some cases...

Storage access permissions issues are still there on 11 Ultra

I'm on 11 Ultra. Were the storage access problems solved?

While they do, I found a way around it by installing Acrobat, connecting it to Google and using it to import Gmail PDFs in specific. I think that storing the file is avoided that way. Haven't found something similar for images though.

Same happens to me, if you ever find a solution, tag me. All permissions were granted and everything was reinstalled (Gmail, pdf app, image viewer, text reader). Still failing.

Just making sure - this ROM will be getting OTA updates, right? Or active development? Meaning - the Mi 11 Ultra has been 'un-retired' and back on the development loop? Been so long since it got a ROM, it's worth asking if it's back on track at this point.

Booting works for everyone. It's the flashing that you may run into problems with. Every rom file that actually verifies that it's being installed on the right device will fail, as the wrong device will be detected.

I made the switch to Swift a few weeks ago. TB is a steaming mess. So many bugs, so little response. BTW, I found a workaround for frozen batch restores: I open the store in parallel, install the app, then TB picks is up, restores the data and moves on. This is something you'd do once, grow...
