News for delay notifications? I can't use Miui if i receive a notification after 15-20 minutes. I have Galaxy Nexus, but also Mi2 users have this problem, from a long time!!

Thanks but i never install apps from backup, always from google play. I tried PNF app, set the app how trusted, blocked in memory, but no change. It's very strange!

I dont' have tried Mpokang on other rom, but i think that is better than Golden because have a more ram, useful for miui. But Golden is a good kernel, i tried it only to see if works, but i don't have tried well.

Yes you must flash in a clean ROM

For now i think that only Mpokang and Golden works, Golden is based on A.S.K.P that is miui compatible, for this works i think. Mpokang kernel break 1080p in video recording, i don't use this almost never.

I had tried crDroid, maybe version 5, and i can say that the rom si amazing, one of the best ever try. Anyway Miui is Miui, is too beautiful. If you want, before Mpokang i had flashed Golden kernel 4.2.2 version on Miui, and works

Guys i flashed Mpokang kernel for to have more ram free and miui is really better. Then i flashed Xylon animations, more smooth than original. Now Miui is working well, but the push notifications don't works

I agree with you, Miui v5 is heavier than stock rom or custom rom based on 4.2.2 or 4.3, but i think that with a better optimization it would be fantastic, smooth and without problem.

I have already done this, but with screen off the notifications have a delay of 20 minutes also. Miui is my favourite rom, but for this maybe i must to change rom. Thanks anyway!

On Galaxy Nexus, there is delay notifications (whatsapp, facebook), and this problem there is from first version of Miui v5. It's a known bug?

On Galaxy Nexus, at the beginning root doesn't works, but after a few minutes works. Strange but now no problem

Ok thanks. Yes maybe maguro has a poor hardware specifics, but also S2 has same specifics more or less, and V5 is better. Maybe the problem is Android 4.2.2? Anyway, the new Android 4.3 is faster than 4.2.2, and i hope to see soon a Miui based on 4.3

Need more optimizations for Galaxy Nexus Maguro. Windows transitions has lags, and the rom in general isn't smoothness. I see, for example, miui v5 on Galaxy S2 (similar hardware), and the transitions and smoothness is better.
