nevermind, seems that my gps is much better with version 6.12.8, 20 out of 20 satelites under less than 10 seconds. im about to upgrade to latest weekly, 6.12.22. Im guessing my issues have been solved by sw update.

I think it's more down to a combination product name, model name and dpi just like the old s3 / s5 and Android sticks. All my android sticks had Samsung s3 as modell and name, worked 100% no matter dpi since playstore was universal

Bad battery life with redmi note 3 pro (SD) reason is that this version with fingerprint active blocks the phone from going to deep sleep. Removing fingerprint solves the issue so now I'm only using pin and the phone goes to deep sleep.
