After locking the GSM provider I got 130hrs of uptime and right now I just had a reboot. Well... this is probably not the solution for the reboots problem even if 130 hrs made me believe that could be it.

I'll try only with the network tip for now so that if it works we know that that's the only variable that changed and we may have a possible solution for this reboot problem.

Yes as I said it happens to me too with low or absent signal. I don't know if it could actually be related to this...

This is what I do for the Error 7: 1) Wipe all from TWRP including system. 2) Install the rom .zip file 3) Error 7 comes up. 4) Reboot phone and go straight back into twrp 5) Flash the same .zip rom without wiping anything this time. It should now work.

I've contacted an admin in en.miui.com hoping to have an answer... it would be useful to know if devs know about the problem and if they are willing to fix it.

As someone suggested here it could be kernel related so with the stock MM kernel it should reboot also with custom roms (and for me it actually does, CM 13 still reboots).

I'll try to open mine to confirm. Even if there's a difference with the batteries I don't think it's related... I mean with older MIUI versions I didn't have reboot problems.

On mine happens quite frequently. I mean before the MIUI 7.5 update the problem was really marginal. I've now flashed the 7.5 couple of times and I can't go past the 100 hours. If it is indeed related to the model, I have an 2gb LTE-CU version. We could try to understand which models are...

Did somebody notice if these reboots also happen with other roms? Have you tried the AOSP from Ivan? Or cyanogenmod? Or the newer AOKP?

I noticed that my random reboots occour when I have low network signal. I don't know if it's a coincidence but the other day I had very poor connection and it started rebooting (3 times in 4-5 hours); before that I had no reboots for 4/5 days and always good reception...
