I'm on the latest 7.3 stable as the 7.5.3.0 presents an accelerometer bug for me. I've tried with benchmarks and it looks like only two cores are available, the others stay offline. This bug has also been reported on en.miui.com - honestly i'm struggling to find a rom that presents no problems...

Have you tried changing base cpu frequencies with kernel auditor or similar? Plus what about the fact that not all 4 cores are ever active?

Why? We are not sure of what's causing this. I honestly think that partitioning has nothing to do with this. I still suspect some kind of fault in the kernel. Have you been able to interpret the logs you guys captured?

I guess you have a Mi4 lte ct since you flashed that version... So your partition is now 1,5 Gb not 1,2 like current miui?

Probably flashing via fastboot recreates the partitions table each time.

I'm honestly pretty sure those reboots have something to do with the kernel. Even if your theory is right this is far from a suitable solution. Sure we can disable MPdecision and set frequencies manually (and maybe change the governor too) but this requires root privileges and some skills...

Well I'm not trying to be negative here but I've also had no reboots for about 130 hrs in some of my tests. I think you have to test it for a few more days before jump to conclusions. Please keep us posted... maybe this could be a real solution to this problem, who knows...

Well now I'll try to flash the 7.5.3.0 via miflash than update to the 7.5.3.0 by xiaomi.eu - I don't think it'll work but still it is the most stable solution available right now (excluding KK)
