Is there any info of how the update works?

Is the miui updater app handling cache and dalvik wipe, or do I have to do it the old fashion way? Been several years since last i did flashing roms.

Hey. Just ordered myself a Xiaomi mi2s. Therefore, I wonder if it is possible to skip updates, without risking problems with my handset. For example, if I skip 10 weekly updates, then install most recent rom via OTA or Updater APP. What can happen? Cannot wait to receive my new Xiaomi;)

Hey folks. How often do you perform all 3 wipes when upgrading your Miui's? And if you have to wipe all (even data..) Is it good enough to backup and restore using Miui-Backup? ..and not least, what about OTA updates? does this really work? Thanks :)
