Sorry, I don't know how to check the md5. I just flashed it and it's working fine. I would suggest you to check if your bootloader got locked when you flashed the previous build. If yes, then unlock the bootloader before flashing. If not, redownload and reinstall.

Try the "normal" update thrugh twrp and if you have bugs, do a clean install. It is however advisable to do a clean install when changing android version

I tried both checking that option and leaving it unchecked. In both cases, files get deleted from the phone. The only workarounds are either not clearing the download list or moving the files to a different location before clearing the list

Dirty install on my Kenzo over the 6.9.9 rom and everything seems fine for now. I still can't set a backup account for google backup. Does anyone know if xiaomi hasn't fixed it yet or if I should clean install this build to fix it?

Try installing a newer twrp from post one. My bootloader was also relocked after upgrade but I was able to use the phone normally

Try flashing official LP, the best would be china dev and then try unlocking the phone. You need to enable both usb debugging and oem unlock. I think it would also be advisable to try the unlock on windows 10 and to install mi pc suite before unlocking. While pc suite is running, connect the...
