No problem, you can directly flash 10.0.11.0 on top of 10.0.9.0, they are coming from same base. You will not lose your data, just don't do the Format Data option in TWRP and you will be alright.

Are you sure bro? I'm using the latest Xiaomi.EU Stable (10.0.11.0) and it is still with Android 8.1.0 / Oreo.

Chine Stable is still with Oreo while Global Stable is already updated to Pie. What's happens here?

You can easily change the LTE to 4G by editing the build.prop and match the country code to yours. It requires root access.

Normally, I didn't use the AOD, but I just tried to enable it and it went just fine, no flickering and grey screen as you mentioned above.

Just flashed the latest update for Mi 8, everything stays the same, nothing's changed. I guess the changes are under the hood. I found out that the MIUI Browser is resurrected again despite it is already frozen by Titanium Backup before, so I guess the version is brand new.

Nope. I don't have this kind of issues. I also in the same version as yours. Perhaps clean reflash the ROM gonna helps.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change it without root access since you need to edit the build.prop and change the country code to something like ID and you will get 4G icon instead of LTE. I did this with my Mi 8.

What you just did was totally wrong in any possible way! Better read the instruction properly before doing any modifications.

Here is what I did last night: 1. Flash the new 10.0.8.0 in TWRP 2. Flash Magisk 3. Reboot to System 4. Done I also always edited the build.prop to match the country code to my actual country, the default build.prop from EU ROM are set to European country.

Seems like your Mi 8 is not a good match with EU ROM :D

Did you already changed the country code to Vietnam? Mine is still works perfectly...

Almost a week with latest stable EU ROM for my Mi 8 and the GPS performance is really stunning! Everytime I open Maps, it locked the satellites very quickly.
