It has not happened to me. I don't even think about WiFi. I have always had the app, Best WiFi Keeper Pro on my phone since before my Mi Max Prime.

Are you using the default launcher or another launcher. I found that to get access to the wallpapers, I needed to switch from Nova Launcher, back to the default launcher and then the lock screen and wallpaper settings worked properly.

Unlocked, rooted, Xposed Mi Max Pro 3/64GB, upgraded from 6.11.10. Smooth, no problems so far. More to report when it gets some more use.

I also would like this. It would open up the Japanese market. More and more SIM free phones are in Japan now. The lack of Japanese language is what holds them back.
