Is wiping and formatting not the same thing? I'm wondering can I do nothing before flashing it, or is it it a necessity?

Thanks, did you transfer the file after full format in TWRP, it did you download it on the phone and not do a full format and just flash it and wipe after?

One more question, can i install it directly over the China MIUI that came on the phone without wiping to keep it in data?

I see the latest stable with Boost Charge enabled is up as TWRP file, but my undestanding is Mix 4 TWRP can't read/write over 3.5GB. Can you explain how I can get this stable installed in that case or will there be a fastboot version? Is that possible? Any help to get this stable installed...
