With Window animation set to off, some other (older?) apps have no animations anymore for opening popup menus.

Tried 3 min. No change. Battery seems to be full now (starts/stops charging) after 20 minutes charging, but screen is dark and charging LED is still off. Phone is hot now, from charging, I guess.

The battery was full, when this happened. Also, connecting it to the USB port of the computer all day (while I was away) did not fix it. OK, I know, that it only charges very slowly form the computer. I have it connected now to the original charger and it charges with 5V and 0.5A. Screen stays...

I bricked my Mi 5! Running Xiaomi.eu 6.4.21. I connected the phone to my car (Android Auto), as I did many times before without problems. Suddenly the screen goes black and the phone is dead. Long press (30s) power button does not make it reboot. Power button plus Vol Down does not start...

I am still on 6.4.21, skipping 6.4.27.

Are you sure, you have the right kernel? When I booted China Dev 6.4.14 with the Xiaomi.eu 6.4.21 kernel, I got the same WiFi problem.

I had this synchronous jumping of signal bars with 2 SIMs also, but not all the time. But at the moment, I use only one SIM, so I can't say, if it is fixed now.

I am certain that this was not happening on China Dev ROM 6.4.14, only a week earlier. I can fix this by setting "Window animation scale" in Developer Option to "Animation off". Menu animations in the mentioned apps then look normal again (not instant, but smooth). Only some MIUI popup window...

Most menus (3 points menu at the upper right) open slowly/jerky for me. For example in Hangouts, Google+, Google Drive. This was not the case in China Dev ROM 6.4.14. The only one that is still fast/smooth, is in Chrome. I am using Xiaomi.eu version 6.4.21. Is anyone seeing this also or seeing...

I also like to know that. Especially, in what way is the boot.img modified? If it's only, so that TWRP can see /data, then it did no good for me, because TWRP could not decrypt and so I had to format /data anyway.

Is for anyone else the upper right menu (3 dots) opening jerky in all apps? This was smooth with China ROM 6.4.14.
