I had the problem before I attempt to update to 21.5.12. I tried to just update to TWRP 3.5 but after this update I ran into bootloop when trying to reboot. I ended up had to wipe data and reflashed the last weekly rom using TWRP 3/4

I had the same problem. After updated to twrp 3.5, TWRP did not ask for password and cannot decrypt data. I revert back to TWRP which is the one I used before and no problems. I suspect data decryption is one of the problems involved in twrp 3.5 My device is K30 5G and now running 21.5.12

Hey I am not shouting. I just reported the fact that the clock app is not working and I fully understand it is being done. Apart from this the ROM is fine. Don't accuse anyone recklessly!!!!

I have just done installing the update without problems. To avoid any further troubles, I did not try rebooting.

Considering a more than 3 years phone it is normal wear and tear for batteries.

I have the same problem with my K30 5G. Don't restart or reboot the phone. Turn it off and power it on again.

You probably bought a fake or bad battery. I did the same some days ago and after testing the battery is almost dead.

First you need to unlock bootloader. Then copy the zip file of the latest weekly eu rom and flash with twrp recovery

Thanks for your very informative input. Appreciated. I cannot get to twrp recovery other than the fastboot method via pc. Also, I cannot power off the phone in the bootloop situation as it always keep the MI and power by android logo on. The only way I did is to flash the stock rom by sideload...

I have similar problem. When tried to reboot using power menu I got bootloop. Had to flash the eu rom again but losing all data. After that I tried turning off power and turning on again without problem. However don't tried to reboot since you will easily get bootloop.

Problem solved by clearing Google play services and play store cache and data. Install magisk manager and done. Thanks for the help.
