Hey, just wanted to clarify.... So is there no way to save camera images and install apps direct to SD card without root? And rooting messes up OTA updates doesn't it?

I'd charge fully, then wipe cahe and data, then flash latest rom. If still not working after that, then attempt to wipe battery stats. You need to make sure your phone is rooted then get the application 'root explorer' then find and delete the file batterystats.bin in the /data/system folder.

Just Transer the latest xiaomi.eu rom to internal memory (no need to rename) and then 'select installation pack' and install through updater menu in MIUI.

Yeah it works better now. I wiped all data and cache and flashed the latest development rom and deleted the battery stats.

What are people getting on battery. The redmi i bought for my friend seems to drian quite quick, dropping 1 percent on standby every 30 minutes. :-( Running Xiaomi.eu rom 24

Hey ingbrzy. I got a redmi 1s recently for a friend and it is running firmware version MIUI-JHCCNBD23.0 . Is it ok to flash your latest xiaomi.eu stable 24 rom using the method you mentioned above without wiping or anything first? Once this is done will OTA updates get pushed to the device? thanks

Ok sweet. But when I say OTA is supported I mean when you run a xiaomi.eu rom do the updated roms get pushed straight to your phone automaticlly without having to manually install and you will recive an alert to upgrade?

So ive been trying to get my original Xiaomi m1 up and running again so my mum can use it. It seems to work however the battery is running down really fast and it also sometimes shuts down randomly. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks
