The MiPad software is just too beta for me, too many crashes too many incompatible apps, too many things that need fixing and of course lollipop will not be coming any time soon, shame really because the hardware is nice. Also really bad times for people looking for an AOSP tablets like me...

Yeah thing is that some apps just dont even run even run after install, I loaded the archos player apk and it crashes on startup. Don't get why all these well known apps don't work or are shown as incompatible. Instagram is incompatible too apparently. Its also annoying as you can't auto update...

Normally I just put the Xiaomi.eu multilang firmware on an SD card renamed to update.zip, then do a full data and cache wipe in recovery, then just install update.zip. I was under the impression that FC's are related to the poor ram management on the redmi 1s. I recently flashed stable...

Hey its worth noting that the chinese Stable v41 release for Redmi 1s, which I prsume you made the multilanguage v41 for here from has been pulled on en.miui.com as it has a whole heap of problems. I would recommend deleting it off here too as I installed it and it is indeed not working properly.
