Do you use a case? there is a setting to disable the mic for filtering outside noises during a call. Have you tried to disable it?

I'm not sure that your bootloader has been locked by what you describes. Try to flash TWRP recovery and install a stable ROM from this site- Xiaomi.eu, don't try to install a ROM from the international site because than your bootloader will be locked.

Do you use a case? What kind of case? TPU, hard plastic? have you tried to remove the case? The device gets hot, but only after some time of video, gaming and intensive work on it.

Suddenly I can't find it and it is not in the system apps list. Installed the latest ROM and still the same. I have MX Player but I can't open videos from the camera from the gallery. Does anyone know how can I restore the Video app? Thanks.

OK, just to be understand the capabilities. So when I get the MI pad, I should prepare an SD card formatted in exfat and the tablet will read it without problems? BTW can the device be configured to save videos and images from the camera directly to the SD card? Thanks.

Just flash TWRP recovery using Flashify.

Worked well after flashing TWRP recovery via ADB commands.

Hi!, I have a Redmi 1S WCDMA which I cannot install the ROM on. The device is on a Chinese stable 45.0. When I go the the updater, the device starts the installation on recovery but gets stuck after a while when it is on 98% with a "failure" message. After that I have to revive it with Miflash...

Going to install a display into a frame by myself with a adhesive sticker. What are the quality of these stickers in comparison to the original glue? what is the response for the adhesive for outside/inside heat?

Actually just tested this on a pro with the latest rom and it is fine, just like any other phone. Maybe because it has Android 5 as a basis.

I don't have the problem but it seems like a bug. HW may be slightly changed through the devices and the SW should deal with all the changes so it will be probably fixed in updates.

High end audio chip and this is the output of audio on a2dp?? Basic feature. Is there a way to elevate this bug to the devs in China? This should be a high priority in their bugs list.
