Install is was ok via fastboot on Mi11i. On home screen is the old gap layout is here.

go to settings,my device,click on version miui, 13 , right up corner ,3 dots and select choose update package and it will boot to recovery and then flash the zip. That is how i update it after i got the same error like you

Double tap to lock the screen is not working on Mi1i. Anyone else have this problem ?

Manage to flash it finally. #Power off the device #Turn on the device using power button + Vol up to boot in recovery. #Select Install and choose the file #Swipe to flash and it works . The gap on home screen is still here. Thanks to EU developers for this update.

I download the file again and follow all the steps # Wipe - Advanced Wipe - Data - Repair File system # reboot # flash again Same error after many reboots to recovery And try to flash it 10 times i got same error.

try to wipe dalvik 3-4 times and same error , reboot device and boot in recovery TWRP and try again, same problem
