    There is no such stock recovery in Redmi Note 3 you have to flash TWRP via fastboot for that you need to unlock bootloder.

    After you done your cooking... Boot in Fastboot Mode type this command " fastboot flash boot Image.img" where "IMAGE" is the file name

    If you are on miui rom now then you can flash boot.img file only no need to flash full rom

    No you need to cook boot.img from miui rom not TWRP follow this thread (http://)en(dot)miui(dot)com/thread-249666-1-1.html ( cant post Links...)and flash newly created boot.img via fastboot mode

    Stock recovery replaces the twrp you flash....you have to modify boot.img via android image kitchen then flash twrp.
