The fonts in menus seems all capital now and the text is therefore bigger, making longer text seem out of place. Us translators need to shorten our menu labels to make the text fit better. But here's an example of what the guy you answer means: It looks a bit weird now, it seems as a funny...

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but try this (for wifi only) : Go to Settings - wifi - advanced. Change the option for keeping wifi on during sleep to "never". ;-) @ my commodore 64

You can start with disabling gps and wifi when you're not using it. Disable location services when not using it. Disable automatic sync and just sync manually once in a while.. Optionally, use Autostarts to disable latitude, maps and a few framework autostarts, without loosing functionality...

Ok, i'm putting something together to automate the process of making a diff and merging the files, within a script, so i won't have a static diff that i apply each week :) This would also prevent errors when the files are changed.. :)

Hehe, I AM the translator for my lang.. The buttons just doesn't seem to be translated.. See this: "Scientific" should be "Videnskabelig". But it just won't stick for some reason. Same with Basic of course.. @ my commodore 64

Is there a fix for the new calculator, the "basic/scientific" button text? It doesn't translate.. At least on the GS3..

Ok, i tried messing about with it for some time now.. I found that (on the GS3) you can actually copy the relevant apks and the widget will show up in the launcher menu. When you put the widget on the home screen, no weather shows up and in it's settings, you get options to search for your city...

And what if I got a GS3? I already have the framework.. @ my commodore 64

Is it possible to get the original samsung weather widget on miui? And how? I tried simply copying the AccuweatherWidget.apk and AccuweatherDaemon.apk to system/app, but that doesnt't work, the widget doesn't show up in the launchcer widgets...

It's a bug in framework2.jar (on i9300), which xiaomi fixed for I9300 at least. I think it's odd though, that the exact same bug would be present on other phones when they are already aware of it?? But then again, it's not all phones that have the bug.. Anyways, not much to do than wait until...

Small update: Issue finally fixed, by installing the latest modem (BUELK1) So, after flashing 10 different modems, this one did the trick for me :-) @ my commodore 64

Just ignore it. It's because the en translations contains strings for more devices and your systemui is for one device only. So it's more or less not errors :)
