I am on the same network in the UK and I am not experiencing such a problem.

Just flash the correct ROM without full wipe.

OTA on my Redmi Note 4x mido was slow and steady and successful. Many thanks to the Xiaomi.eu team. ;)

Downloaded from home desktop and flashed via TWRP with dirty wipe on my Redmi Note 4 (mido). Noticed nice minor changes (see screenshots below). Not sure about OTA but I'm happy with this update. Many thanks to the xiaomi.eu team.
