Dirty upgrade on Mi5 from latest July weekly ROM. No problems at all. I feel better battery life but it's too early yet. Split screen is cool. ;-) If don't miss any lost functionality.

Form Gb Custom Rom To Xiaomi.eu

GB custom ROM is Xiaomi.eu. So, you can leave it or upgrade to a newer xiaomi.eu weekly.

On Mi5, this is quite bad. Worst than previous release that was worst that previous one.

It's on Miui dev team roof, not Xiaomi.eu. Xiaomi.eu is based in official MIUI China ROMs, so no new Android version until they switch. In my experience, MIUI usually do not perform minor Android upgrades. So don't expect a 7.1.x If currently you are at 7.0.

Mi two cents. Mi5 pro, 128GB succesfully upgraded. - Previously: BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP to MiCloud/whatever. I prefer to backup via TWRP and copy my backup to external storage. - Copy new MIUI to internal storage. - Update TWRP to 3.0.2.3 img from TWRP 3.0.2.2 via "install image" as recovery...

Hi guys. Those with bricked Mi5 can install Xiaomi global or China oficial via miflash way in fastboot and then proceed with TWRP and Xiaomi.eu installation. No hard brick. Anyway, you are with a weekly release. If you want a crash free custom ROM stay with global official or Xiaomi.eu stable.

Hi Cobas. You should unlock booloader (vía unlock tool). Then flash twrp in order to replace bootloader, wipe caché and format system and flash Xiaomi.eu ROM. It's quite easy. Send me a PM in spanish if you need more help.
