From what version did you update to this one?

I tried downgrading, but anything below 22.3.16 gets stuck on "Just a sec..." after unlocking the phone.

MIX 4 has an issue since 22.3.24 where notifications will arrive very delayed. This seems to be caused by background apps being killed regardless of battery settings. I've described it a bit more in-depth here

Basically, it seems like versions 22.3.24 as well as 22.3.30 have an issue where, after locking the phone and waiting for 5-10min, notifications will not get updated anymore. Apps such as Gmail, Discord and WearOS will not update unless opened, even if battery management is disabled and the app...

It just... Started working again. I have no idea why or how.

Update: Google Pay has now mysteriously started working again... I'm at a loss. Fix your stuff, Google.

Alright, thanks for the help. Tomorrow I'll try and see if the Play Services data reset helps, though I'm a bit skeptical since I'm not rooted or anything. Weirdly enough my device seems to be Play Protect certified:

The phone is not rooted and has previously been completely wiped and set-up again (~3mo). SafetyNet fully passes with a CTS profile match. Today Google Pay stopped working, giving me the error message "Phone doesn't meet security requirements". I have no idea why, here's 2 screenshots I hope...

I had to disable any kind of battery management for my most important apps. One example was the sleep mode, under Battery => Gear Icon => Scenarios in the settings. So far the Android 12 build seems okay, but dark mode "breaks" the selfie cam because it inverts the color of the cutout to white.

Update 2: the issue is with the system-wide dark mode. It also inverts the color of the cutout. So current workaround is to not enable dark mode.

Update: the issue somehow seems to have fixed itself over night.... Will have to see if it comes back after a reboot.

Usually when opening the selfie cam in an app the system displays a black cutout above where the in-display camera is. In the newest 21.11.11 build the cutout is white, therefore making the selfie camera basically unusable because it can't properly see through the display anymore.

Mix 4 system hard-locks when connecting to Android Auto headunit, can only recover via reboot.

Can confirm same issue on Mix 4 with 21.9.8 Beta EU ROM.
