When updating all you need to do is install the .Zip & wipe Dalvik & Cache afterwards. No need to wipe anything. That's why you lost your apps & data. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

It is most likely because you are running a fake/vendor ROM. Flash one of the latest Global developer ROMs & then check under developer options for "OEM unlock" & "Mi Unlock Status" (add Account & Device) Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

I have read a few posts on en.miui about this error message when attempting to "Add Account & Device" This has been solved in a few cases by factory resetting the device & sign-in to.Mi Account during setup then attempting to "Add Account & Device" again.

Hi, I have similar drops with this ROM version & same P62 baseband but I am using Redmi Note 4 (practically same hardware) My only solution for the time being was to drop it down to 3G & only then it remains stable.
