Well...imo miui 8 it's better for now. I don't see any improvements. A new theme and font? Really? Can't use the left screen, can't set the number of rows and columns on home screen. Live icons? All that hype about miui9 and it's worse? Please continue the development on miui8 or keep the good...

Tried that. Doesn't remove screen off animation. Only the ones in developer options. I believe it can be done also by modding the rom but you need root access and some coding abilities

Nevermind I found it. Developer options - windows animation scale/transition animation scale/ animator duration scale - all off

It's not. Xiomieu has the same battery life as official global rom. If you want something better then wait for lineage os to get official support for our mi6.

Well I had mi5 and mi5s and now I have mi6. The only improvement i notice is the design. The hardware upgrade isn't noticeable for me.
