The only thing I can think of for you to try would be to add the Google gallery apk plus its required lib.so files. Such can be found in a 4.2 photosphere camera zip, unfortunately I can't fetch a zip for you at the moment but there should be a post somewhere on this forum.

Hmm, unfortunately I'm not sure what has to be done to link the original gallery app with the new camera apk. Can you confirm if the gallery works single handedly? If only some people actually considered a hand..

Recent versions of instagram don't seem to be coinciding well with the Mi2. I'm periodically getting another problem when I hit my news tab and try to scroll - the app will just crash. Hmmm!

If the flashing doesn't work, you might have to give manual file extracting a shot - placing each of the files in their specific root directories and restarting phone. Love the skin on this camera!

Amen. I find it pretty ridiculous about the miniscularity in choice MIUI have chosen for their users. The limitations are comparable to iOS, and what's bonkers is the fact that it's based on Android/Cyanogen, yet they completely cut off and make their own rules within.

My 3.5.17 camera works perfect. Had a little fiddle last night and changed the focus from Auto to Normal. The autofocus already sucks as it is so I decided to completely disregard the feature as normal mode does the same thing BUT delivers a clearer overall picture. Give it a shot.

Mine was also averaging approx. Two days on a charge with about 5-6 hours on screen time, this is with using Stock qdt10 + 3100mAH. On V5 I'd end a day with about 50% or a little more, approx. 2 ½ hours screen on time, with the extended battery as well. Sigh.. I really do believe if Xiaomi...
