Any luck with the skinned camera in the first post? :)

Has anyone noticed how auto ISO functions? Seems to pick a higher ISO than needed 80% of the time unless in completely full light, resulting in grainy as hell images. Flick it to 100 ISO and see how much better the image turns out.

Hi all. Have had a fiddle with the ISO settings and are getting superbly sharp and less grainy with 100 ISO setting - my point being is that the auto setting seems to rely on higher options. Is there any way to make it shutter faster?

I will say that the screen is must easier to replace than anticipated. I did mine easily, refer to the thread I posted looking for a tutorial and watch the video I linked.

Thanks, but yes I saw that, I just wasn't fond of making my phone any thicker than the already super-thick 12.2mm it already was. Good news is I replaced my screen easier than thought and am now going to use the original battery + case.

Hello all. Just curious to know if anyone has stumbled upon any sort of screen replacement tutorial for the Mi2? All I've found so far is a video on YouTube that shows the phone being disassembled revealing the mainboard, but I'm not all too fond on relying on it to fix my screen and would...

1. Copy app to /system/app, overwrite original, set permissions to rw-r-r. 2. Copy the other files to /system/lib and replace, then set permissions to rw-r-r. 3. Reboot.

Unfortunately it seems to be an issue with the connector port itself, and not any cable I've ever tried. :( Cleaned it out a little with a sharpened toothpick and got quite a fair bit of dust out which helped a little bit! But the problem still persists.

Maybe a 4.5" 1080p (that saying it will be achieved sooner or later) with a smaller bezel, thinner body whilst maintaining a large battery, and 4G/LTE connectivity may sound good? :p
