I've been running 1.8.5 on the N1 and haven't noticed this problem. But I will admit that the past two builds have been unusually buggy.

Only problem for me is that google voice search still force closes when I try to use it.

Same thing here. Using a nexus one.

Is the browser still supported? There hasn't been any updates for it in months.

Tried it on a nexus one and couldn't reproduce the problem. Have you wiping both caches and reinstalling?

Actually I was talking about switching between portrait and landscape mode. You can reproduce the issue by opening the browser or youtube app and turning your phone. When using the default or any light theme the screen rotates normally, but when using a dark one, it's noticably slower.

Try enabling compatibility mode for your browser in the app settings. That usually fixes the problem.

I've noticed that since the last build after applying any dark themes, the time it takes for the screen to rotate doubles. Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this. It's not a huge problem but it really kills the fluidity of the rom.

Just go to the app you want to freeze then select it. The option should be there. Not sure if you need the titanium backup pro version though.

You could try going into settings under the programs tab, then picking your default music player. If that doesn't work you can try freezing the music app with titanium backup.

You can access a hidden menu by typing *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer. Look in the phone information tab and the option should be there.

Thanks for the warning, but I figured a nandroid backup would be enough incase something went wrong. Anyways thanks for the mod, hopefully this feature can get implemented into the stock rom.

Have they fixed the copy/paste in miren browser? It wasn't working last time I checked.

Probably not till it's officially released.
