Sure, you can download rom zip you find on this forum and install it, it's the same thing. There are 2 types of Miui rom, stable and developer versions. Here you can find only developer versions, they're most of times enough stable; maybe you can wait just some days before updating every week...

Miuiandroid rom (the one on this forum) is already purged of useless chinese software and filled with various languages. The languages list is defined in OP posts of every release.

From what i've read it could be a problem related to last version 4.6.6. Try to flash any of the 4.5.x series or before and see if it keeps giving the problem.

Well of course sure it's better that an application needs less ram than before :) But even if after some usage hours i have 300-500mb ram free i've never experienced any lag or slowness due to not enough available ram, and this let me think that the system takes the ram in advance dinamically...

No sir, the one you call a clichè is a method to force phone refill ram with something it could have in cache yet. So free ram is wasted ram in a system that dinamically uses it, and forcely freeing it wastes battery too on reloading what the system had just loaded yet.

Once all your contacts are loaded, all the ones from Google account i mean, force sync refresh of Xiaomi account from settings. You can check if all contacts are synced to Xiaomi account (or viceversa) modifying account contact display from Contacts app.
