The camera flash? Was a thing I didn't try (I only took in-daylight pics today), but since you ask I've just tried again: on photo-mode the flash doesn't work, on camcorder mode the torch does work. Weird stuff: the 4.2 stock camera can handle the flash but the camera app itself is very laggy.
