What recovery are you using, you could try another one. Just need to restore from the recovery you bu'd with Also, you could copy (cut) the app-private to your pc from sd and then nandroid with the app-private no longer on sd. Then copy it back to sd card to the nandoid you just made Ken

I flashed anyway and some is still chinese--but no miui gallery or camera And no read of ringtones from sd card like previous versions Phone info shows 3.5 not .11 Will restore original .5 for now Thanks, Ken

I don't think you will much speed difference--it all moves pretty fast Just read and think I also had issues months ago with flashing different roms after moving it and/or restoring from different bu's Give it a shot--just bu your sd card first

I don't understand all of your post--assume you mean Rom No it won't--but you need to bu current sd card first and repartition the new one if your old one is partitioned Can help you if you need it

I read on XDA somewhere there is a negative to that, but forgot what it was--maybe someone can help with that so you are informed enough to decide if you want to do it. I am not techy enough to understand it. Most people do cachesd but I don't know how many do the dalvik2cache. Ken

Thanks shumpi, I am not sure what features I would want from GB. It is plain to MIUI and wouldn't want GB's Music or Contact apps. Maybe, there are some performance features, as I read GB is the first step in better performance to give devs more programming versatility. Trying to match iPhone...

I am dumb at these things. But, wouldn't that be like wanting a GB ver of the HD Desire rom of Micro's. I have read other threads on this Forum addressing this already, and forgot what advantages were mentioned. But, MIUI is unique to me and would not want to change it. Ken
