this is how I fixed the issue...reflash MIUI 12-whatever u have...and the English pack...then the market should be back at 1.8.2...from there flash the zip I linked...should work

lol it's already out...they'll have an MIUI Gingerbread in the coming weeks...it's the natural progression of things.

as long as they help the open source community with bits and pieces (notification drawer toggles, radio, etc) the actual MIUI rom can be closed in my book. MIUI should have a more android like launcher though. app drawer > icon sea any day. but yea. MIUI is the most polished custom ROM out...

Could whomever translates to our talented Chinese initial devs (assuming they added the SMS popup) see about adding SMS threading to it...it's a great tool and I use it always but it sucks when my friend (who likes to reply in many small messages as opposed to long lines) sends like 6 messages...

Every so often after I send a message the app will force close... Nothing is lost and I just have to open it again but it is mildly annoying. Will post a logcat after the next time it happens.
