Maybe it has been asked at the Miui English forum... but I don't think it'll ever get fixed/changed, because as far as I remember it was present in v4 too...

The should build it using linaro :-) Probably gonna have to wait several more weeks to get a relatively bug free, semi fast version... (at least on gnex) But hey... it's free right.. :D

From what I've read on the MIUI forum about this new release, the Galaxy Nexus rom is still way to buggy :s.

Probably a few more weeks before we will have other devices running the new MiUI v5. Patience is a virtue ;-)

I installed the new rom with the proper instructions and themes are working, no bootloop etc.. :) But if I'm correct, the flickering lockscreen (music) should have been fixed, but it hasn't changed for me... still does this. Overall performance has not improved, but didn't get worse either. :)...

Another thing I noticed, is that when I turn on the screen, it takes about 2 seconds before the lockscreen shows up. I first see only the background image, and then it pops up the lockscreen. That's the most annoying thing :s Max. frequency screen turned off = 729 Mhz Min. CPU = 384 Mhz Max...

I guess it's just a bug they can fix :-). Only thing I'm wishing for now is the lockscreen performance. If that get's 'up to speed', the MiUI experience for me will be very good.

The equalizer background on the music lockscreen part is acting strange. (flickering) Anyone else has this ?

I just flashed the new Miui rom on my Galaxy Nexus. Homescreen scrolling lag seems to be much better. I still notice lag on the lockscreen, more so when switching to the music controls. I'll see how it goes with Franco's latest Milstone 6.

I think it's a good thing they're aiming for bug fixes in the new release instead of new features. Extra stuff is cool, but it's far more interesting to have a stable, high performing rom. Hope they fix all the performance issues on the GNex one day... it's keeping me from using MiUI as my...

New build didn't change anything performance wise for me .. I read up on the gnex port across the net, and indeed it's alot of the same complaints. It's not unworkable though, but I guess I'll eventually change to another rom.

I've now tried Franco's latest nightly kernel and it's probably the best yet, certainly an improvement but not perfect. Same issues still exist more or less. Maybe the new build will help :)
