When u flash an updated miui dont erase anything just flash it over ur old version and all ur settings and contacts come back i dont even use the backup feature its because everytime u have triple contacts and u save them as ur backup and u flash a newer miui and u do that backup you will have 4...

yeah i got the same problem someone said to go into the zip file from 1.7.1 and in there there are system apps and copy the miui android apk i tried that but it didnt want to install any other suggestions please it was a really usefull app

hi the 4 way reboot dont work for me samsung galaxy i9000 1.6.24 any suggestions?

miui freezez and unable to press anything when plugging and mounting sd to the computer or sometimes when i unplug and mount sd back to phone it freezez and have to reboot, it happens on a daily basis any suggestions? everything else works great
