I read that, on XDA they say it's just a fork of something that already exists; I'm no developer, so I hope it's the real thing :p

My 2 cents, and I'm pretty unhappy with battery life as well: - battery usage is really bad, with any ROM you might try, so don't expect too much; - turn off sync, data and wifi, and it'll last a little longer, but then what's left?; - turn off auto brightness, it helps; - if you want to install...

This is probably a dumb question, but... is there a MIUI 6 for the Redmi Note 2? I was wondering what the performance would be like (namely the battery consumption) using the v6, which ran really nicely on my previous device.

Well, regarding battery, it's pretty much the same, although it feels a tiny bit better. I don't give it an excessive use, but I do tend to check the phone a lot, third party online music player always on, and chrome also. Either way, the power draining seems to come from the display, mostly. If...

Sounds like the right thing to do. People that really want performance and speed don't care about battery usage, while people wanting more battery life are left with only a "normal" mode, and usually go for other means to save battery. Go for it! And thanks for all your work and effort, by the way!

Switch to performance mode. I got 47k on balanced mode, and 57k on performance. It's sucking my battery dry, though, even in balanced mode and kernel adiutor limiting CPU...

I would hope at least some of the changes done by Namaless are integrated on future builds, once proven stable...

I'd be happy (for the time being) with double tap to sleep on the statusbar :P By the way, can this be achieved without xposed?
