Oh really, every boot it will wipe out TWRP? I am under the impression that it should only do once.

Wipe TWRP out on first boot is non issue as we can always flash it again. If we read the post above the bootloader remains unlocked. So flash it back will take less than one minute.

I would like to know that too. As I would like my phone to have these, Unlock bootloader, TWRP and root.

Boot into fastboot and cable to PC, pc enter this command :- fastboot oem device-info

Did the bootloader stay unlocked after that ? How about TWRP is it still there ? Wipe data is the painful part for me. Is there an easy way for you restore the apps, data, launcher short cut, launcher folder organization etc etc ?

Replying to my own post. Yeah tested dirty flash from weekly beta 6.10.13 switch over to 8.0.3 stable, it hits the same problem as downgrading 6.10.13 to 6.9.22, ie can't downgrade database from from version 908 to 906. The complains seems to be coming from contacts, ie in version 8.0.3 stable...

But please also note that turn off miui optimization can cause 'settings' to hang when you browse settings->other accounts. At least this is what happens ti my mimax phone.

How do you know that in official ROM 6.9.29, documents apps problem is fixed ? If it is fixed, they should mentioned it in the change log, right ? Maybe the official ROM 6.9.29 which you tested, have MIUI optimization turn off, that's why documents app is enabled ?

If you run some cleaning using the security manager, it will turn off USB debugging automatically as it sees that as weak security.

You must have recently installed an overlay or floating window apps such as Facebook or something. Apart from temporarily remove the offending app, you can also rotate landscape, you will likely workaround the problem.
