this is clearly your fault.... why you erase your Mi Account before unbinding it from your devices? one solution: go to service center, bring the box with you to prove it is yours... they'll be able to unlock it.

Yeah I know dat in stock android which is real dumb move by Google but MIUI fixed that in MIUI 9, but they removed it in 10... what gives? When I lock my phone and its on LOCKED SCREEN, I want everything to be locked & stay locked, no changes can be made... Today's lockscreen got way too many...

You all know about this problem since last beta + MIUI 9.5 update. If you watch closely, you'll see your Google account always got sync problem (stuck) or got (!) for no reason. The problem is in latest MIUI code which breaks Google's "Push Subscriptions" HIDDEN SYNC. You can see this problem...

dunno but mine fixed the weird sync issue that kept the G Services awake for no reason....

just check if its 9008 in Device Manager, if yes, just pry open your phone and disconnect the battery for some 5 seconds and reconnect it, it'll boot normally... no need to flash.... I learned this hard way: complete clean reflash using miflash, losing my family's photos and still stuck in EDL...
