Since a few weeklys incl. WEEKLY 9.1.3 the PIN entry windows directly after startup is too small and shows only 2 digits instead of all 4 PIN digit entries. Bug is reported for Redmi 4x (HM4X).

On Redmi 4x (HM4x) the PIN login window is now much smaller and shows not 4 digits any more, only 2. Also the number input field seems to be smaller. Everything else seems to work fine. Thank you very much for the support ! Happy new year ! ;)

New 8.9.6 seems to work now even with SMS-app. Thanks.

tried to get back to 8.8.30. ROM started and worked, but SMS problem remains. Even flashing this zip on top does not work. Will try now to download and flash the new 8.9.6.

The updater app is crashing in this version. Also I can not find a way to reach the recovery mode without the updater app. Is there a smart way to reach it from the operation system when up ? Perhaps to extend the start (re)start menu anyway ?

Why is it suspended again ? I downloaded 7.11.23 few hours ago and installed it. Just planed to write that it seems to work much better on Redmi 4x (HM4X) than the 3 weeklys before. The ZIP is still there...

You can flash what ever you like with (advanced wipe cache, dvalik and system) on twrp, if the base version of android is the same like before. So in this case you can downgrade for sure like that.
