If you have a backup, reboot into recovery (there usually are hardware-key combinations you can use), install the backup and start the phone with the old Miui. From there download 2.12.7 again, I guess your download was corrupted, at least that's a good guess. Maybe install the next time from...

Sorry, guys, I will probably be told off for a stupid question like that ... but I wonder which GAPPS to flash. M1s, just arrived, first flash ever, the version here on MiuiAndroid.com is ICS, right? :) Sorry for the dumb question.

I didn't even try anymore for the Mi2 - my family in China tried to get a hold on a M1 back then and a Mi2 now, and it's really bloody difficult. So I am waiting for my M1s to arrive. In Manchester, where I live, although I am originally from Germany and spent quite a few years in Finland. ;)

My M1s is (finally) on its way, at least I hope so, it was hell difficult to get it. Now I learned that it has a MicroSIM slot. Just that the source is not really reliable and I don't really know what exactly a MicroSIM is. ;) Can anyone tell me if I have to order another SIM from my provider...

I had it in the CM7 on my LG Optimus 2x - but searching for it via Google I saw that it seems it IS a lot of framework tweaking, apparently, so I was entirely unable to do anything myself. :) I guess all those people who are stuck with GB Miui for now or even a longer while would cheer big...

I am quite sure that the 2x will have Miui V4 as soon as ICS is available from LG. There are drivers missing right now that make CM9 a bit unstable and incomplete. Have a look over at XDA-developers, developer Waijk improves MIUI for the 2x, calls it Wiui. it's good stuff, and he just released...
