    I actually did what you did: requested the unlock (receiving the sms on my old motorola), then ordered a redmi3, after 4 days I received the phone and after 5 more days I received the unlock.

    @kisszoli0707 you have to unlock the bootloader (via request on miui website), then follow the procedure, then install twrp and at last install xiaomi.eu rom. it took me more or less 2 hours to do everything, but I requested the unlock days ago.

    The trickiest part was figuring out which one was the button to get to languages settings - I used CWM for a while before buying this Redmi3. On XDA everything is explained clearly anyway. Thanks for sharing and also thanks @Pertti Kosunen for the hint!
